Tarocchi Fool’s Journey: Card 20 (Judgement)

  • by

In the beginning, there was the Fool; and the Major Arcana plays out the rest of his tale. “The Fool’s Journey” is a fascinating and important concept for both beginners and tarot pros alike. Come along with me as I revisit this journey through 22 cards from 22 different decks.

Judgement: The Higher Self Beckons

With his true light shining forth, the Fool is reborn and absolved in the Judgement card. He now hears the call of his higher self and moves toward it, forgiving himself for any past mistakes and looking ahead with a sense of joy and fulfilment in his heart. At this crossroad near the end of his journey, he trusts his own judgement as decides which path to take to reach his final goal and change his life in a significant way.

Judgement in the Mystical Cats Tarot by Lunaea Weatherstone and Micki Mueller is represented by the Good Kitty. In this card, we are called to judge ourselves fairly, releasing any blame or shame we feel for our past mistakes. The Cat Goddess glowing above the Good Kitty reminds us that we are all born from the divine and that there is a goodness within all of us that will help light our path if we let it rise up and shine forth.
