Judgement Tarot Card Meaning
Judgement Keywords: Manifestation, skill, power, focus, creativity, resourcefulness, mastery, potential.
Judgement in the tarot signifies a time of awakening and renewal, where self-reflection allows for a transformative rebirth. This card represents the need to assess past actions, release old judgments, and embrace the call to a higher purpose or life path. It highlights the importance of facing life’s challenges with honesty and a willingness to learn, creating space for healing and growth. Judgement encourages you to listen to your inner call, make choices that align with your true self, and step forward with clarity and purpose.
Judgement Reversed Tarot Card Meaning
Judgement Reversed Keywords: Self-doubt, stagnation, avoidance, fear of change, lack of reflection, missed calling, unresolved issues.
When Judgement appears reversed in a tarot reading, it signifies self-doubt or an unwillingness to confront necessary change, resulting in stagnation. This card suggests a resistance to self-reflection, where avoidance of past issues or fear of change hinders growth and transformation. It reflects missed opportunities or a reluctance to heed life’s call, preventing forward movement and spiritual awakening. Reversed Judgement urges you to release fear, engage in honest reflection, and embrace the transformations that will bring clarity and fulfillment.
El Tarocchi Insight
Judgement means the waiting period is over.
In my 20+ years of tarot reading, I most often see Judgement appear during major life transitions: career pivots, relationship reckonings, or any long-deferred decisions finally coming due. Interestingly, Judgement tends to show up when a tarot client already knows what they need to do/choose, but is still hesitant to commit. It goes to show that more often than not, Judgment is actually telling us to heed the call coming from inside us, rather than an external beckoning.
