The High Priestess: Heed Your Inner Wisdom
It’s easy to get drunk on power when you first start wielding it. This is why the next step in the Fool‘s Journey is a more grounding, introspective one. After the Fool meets (or evolves into) the Magician, his counterpart, the High Priestess, makes her presence known. Where the Magician’s energy is channeled outward, the High Priestess’ energy is channeled inward, allowing the Fool to dive deeper into his subconscious with his own intuition acting as a guide. She teaches him that not all that is true or of value is in the physical realm, and that sometimes the wisest, truest answers can be found within.
