Where to Find Tarot Courses in the Philippines

  • by

It’s surprisingly hard to find good tarot courses in the Philippines that provide knowledge and offers truly safe spaces for you to learn and grow as a tarot reader. Some courses you may find in a quick Google search are quite expensive for what you get, and/or are hosted by individuals/organizations that are clearly out for the money and fame/influence rather than the actual love for tarot.

Here’s a quick list of smaller groups or individuals who also offer tarot classes and may provide more value for the time, energy, and resources you put into them.

Mara Baraha

Grace is a tarot reader I’ve personally met, and I really love how she keeps her content real and 100% relatable. She holds different levels of tarot courses, her latest one being her Unveiling the Arcana Advanced Tarot Class.

Check her stuff out and give her a follow on the following platforms:

Mystics & Whims Academy

Mystics & Whims Academy is co-founded by my good friend, Henson Wongaiham, and he offers a course called Intuitive Card Reading. He said he chose to create this as a “pre-requisite” to basic tarot courses to teach students how to read cards using intuition alone. The great thing is that even absolute beginners can use this as a foundation to read any cards based on their own intuition.

The next Intuitive Card Reading course will be held sometime in the second quarter of 2026.

Aside from the academy, Mystics & Whims is also a well-known local shop offering high quality spiritual goods at affordable prices, as well as having the widest selection of locally-made tarot and oracle card decks.

Check them out on:

Septakademika

The Septakademika Holistic Arts Academy offers a wide array of services, workshops, and events, including their very own tarot courses, Foundations of Intuitive Tarot Reading and Intro to Tarot.

Check them out on the following platforms:

V432 Wellness

While widely known for their sound healing and reiki services, Teacher Tonette and V432 Wellness also offer learning sessions and workshops, including tarot courses.

While they haven’t put tarot courses in their calendar just yet, check them out and keep an eye out for updates on the following channels:

There might be more tarot courses in the Philippines to check out!

These are only a few people and organizations offering local tarot courses that I (or my friends) can personally vouch for! There are plenty more teachers offering tarot lessons popping up at various events and social media channels lately, so it helps to keep your eyes and ears open for them.

Don’t forget to be discerning when choosing the best tarot course for you. Some things that may help include:

  1. Talking to people who have actually graduated from the tarot course to get their honest feedback.
  2. Asking people you trust for referrals to teachers they know and trust.
  3. Checking out any course previews or recordings (if available) to see if the teaching method and the teacher themselves resonate with you.
  4. Reflecting on your own learning style; knowing how you learn best can help you pick the teacher and course with a teaching style that matches.
